This notice describes the initial Afterglow theme only. The site operator should review it, add operator/contact details and update it for the actual hosting, plugins and services used before public launch.

Saved stories and reading preferences: when you save a story or change the reading settings, this theme stores your choices in local storage in your browser. The saved list includes story titles, links and descriptions. The feature does not send that list to the site operator. You can remove entries using the heart button or clear the site data in your browser.

Advertising and analytics: the theme includes no AdSense code, tracking pixels, newsletter form or analytics scripts. If the operator adds such services, this notice and any necessary consent controls must be updated before they operate.

Hosting and WordPress: the hosting provider and WordPress may process technical data, including IP addresses and access logs. Administrator sign-in uses WordPress authentication cookies. Additional plugins, embedded media and enabled comments may introduce further processing that the operator must describe here.

The imported stories have comments disabled. If comments are enabled later, the operator should document the collection, retention and use of comment data and any associated anti-spam service.
